In Texas: when you are injured on the job, or have a work-related injury, the Division of Workers’ Compensation, Texas Department of Insurance (TDI), sets the framework for medical treatment and rehabilitation.
You may receive medical treatment from the doctor that accepts Workers’ Compensation, up to six times within two weeks of your injury. In addition, if your insurance has an approved doctor, you must be seen by a network approved Dr. After the sixth visit, you are required to see a Workers’ Compensation Healthcare Network (WCHN) doctor. TDI maintains an approved doctors’ list (ADL) from which you can select. As a Certified WCHN provider, Patients Choice clinics are on most network lists and can provide you with the care you need.
We are strong advocates for our patients at Patients Choice. When you seek our help, you can count on personalized attention and medical care tailored to your individual needs. Our staff follows occupational disability guidelines (ODG), and we will closely supervise your related treatment to help you regain your health and return to work as quickly as possible.
